The way I felt about the jena 6 case as it was unfiar to balck's even though they did sometihng wrong the other boy's should have been equally punished for their behavior they main issue to me was the whole fact that the black's got punished for defending there self aginst whites who had started with them because of there ethnicity and was treated unfairly in the court room the juge did not give them a fair enough chance to pled their casses.

I feel that it couldve been any colored person not just blacks and i think it was and is unfair. How come the 6 boys get sent to jail just for tryin to defend there self and the uncolored "white" kids got 2 just walk away like if nothing ever happen.Them the white kids mom wants 2 say that shes afraid that there going to try 2 kill her son,Well if her son new how 2 act she wouldnt have 2 worry about that(i wonder who he learned that from..).Them the Jena 6 didnt even get a chance 2 pled not guilty because again they were being unfair about it and treated them and there family unfairly.Thats how i feel about the Jena 6 Case.

How I feel about the Jena 6 case is unbelievable.I feel as though the punishment doesnt fit the crime. I just want to say did we have equal right movements for nothing? Did Martin Luther King Jr. die in vien? Well, as black people we need to figure out a way to band togther in this time of injustice.

The way i feel about the Jena 6 Trial is very upset. I think it is unfair how the system is treating the caucasion boys different from thw african american ones. It is messed up how one crime is more severe then the other and there not treating the more severe one more attentive.

the way we feel is that its wrong because if it was the other way around we would want them black kids to be punished too. Its not right to just suspend the white kids and put the black kids in jail. I kno that what the black kids did was wrong but the what the white kids were doing was wrong also. So that just the we feel because we think that all people should be treated equally

I feel the Jena 6 case is very wrong. it makes me mad to see this happen. for the caucasion boy to get off after commiting a worst crime than the african boy sounds racist to me. I just pray that everything works out well for both sides.

Well, this hurts me to my heart. It is painful to know that the justice system is systematically unjust. What scares me even more is that this is not just about racism, but about power and the abuse of power; it is about the politics of poverty; it is about the legalized hustle called the Louisiana court system. All I'm saying is that we need to be aware and know that it's okay to wear black as a sign of support, but what else can we really do? Are you registered to vote? Are you writing letters to your elected officials? Are you praying? Are you putting aside some cash for the legal team that these six young men will need? Are you prepared for when it happens north of the Mason-Dixon line? Yeah, I wore black last week, but I also have a check waiting to be written for the Jena Six defense fund. I taught about this in my class. I WILL follow up on my students' excellent suggestions and I do pray for the families and I ask God what more can I do? Thanks for letting me add my two cents! Much love to UPA!

my feelings about the jena6case, is that it was so much injustice..the way them people treated that little boy was horrible..they shouldn't do that to people..independence, freedom, and unracialness..if this is not coming ture then what was martin luther king jr fighting for..i mean those were the exact reasons he died for..like the declaration of independence it promised that all men, black men as well as white men would be guaranteed the unalienable right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness..so why is this still going on? tell me becuase im not really understanding...i mean martin did all that for a reason so i think that his dream should be for filled..may god bless all the people who has so much anger in their hreats...

I KNOW IM LATE POSTIN A COMMENT AND EVERYTIHNG BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A FEW THINGS. NOW I DONT KNOW MUCH BUT I WILL TELL YOU WAT I KNOW. I FEEL VERY HURT BY THIS CASE BECUZ IT IS VERY UNFAIR HOW THEY PUT ONE IN JAIL AND NOT THE OTHERS. IF THAT WAS ME THEY WOULD HAVE TO PUT ME UNDER THE JAIL CAUSE JUST LIKE MARTIN LUTHER KING SAID FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS AND THATS JUST WAT I WOULD HAVE DONE. IT JUST SERIOUSLY HURTS ME BADLY AT THE FACT THAT THIS IS GOING ON ONCE AGAIN. CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG

I feel that those in the jena 6 cases were treated unfairly.I think that if this happened where we live....honestly someone would probably have been jumped(which actually happened). But in a place where the people of power abuse that power..youre in a situation where people have to ban together so that the innocent(s) can be freed.Things that are negative and unfair usually brings people together. In the midst of all this negativity, people banded together to let people know that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.I feel that the jena 6 cases stemmed from unfairness and racism but that we are trying our best to ensure that justice is served.

The jena 6 case was very sad. It's crazy how we have so much injustice in a place where we so called have freedom. I think the punishment was too harsh for the boys who were trying to defend themselves. I believe the situation was very unfair...
